Reading or listening to God's Word helps me stay focused on that Higher Power that keeps me grounded and in the present moment with a sense of tranquility.
Some helpful tools I practice to remind me during the day of God's promises are:
--I listen to audio messages by spiritual teachers on my phone while I do housework or go out for my walk.
--I read and repeat throughout the day inspirational and uplifting messages, quotes and verses found in the Bible, A Course in Miracles or other spiritual material I've written on index cards I carry with me.
--I raise a prayer to God
--I look for things to be grateful for and express them out loud to hear myself
These practices help me quiet the fear thoughts and the "what if" questions that arise.
We are all in this together and with God.
